It was inevitable, but that doesn't make the news any easier to swallow. Horizon Forbidden West has been delayed from Q4 of 2021 to Q1 of 2022. The long awaited sequel to the hit PS4 exclusive was originally announced at the PS5 reveal event in June 2020 with only "coming in 2021" to go by. You can check out that trailer here.

The announcement trailer teases the introduction of new gameplay mechanics such as a rebreather for underwater exploration, new landscapes with the sand dunes. Not only that but also some information about the storyline itself with some familiar faces set to make a return.
