We love getting dressed up as our favourite characters as much as the next person, but with every convention and expo there come a few dodgy outfits that have completely and utterly missed the mark. Today we're having a bit of fun and sharing some of the funniest cosplay fails we've seen.

Pikachu

There's something seriously wrong with this Pikachu cosplay. We're not sure if it's the creepy beekeeper mesh or the random washing basket placement that's throwing it off. What do you reckon?

The Simpsons

You only have to Google 'bad Simpsons cosplay' to find a series of images disturbing enough to fuel your nightmares for years to come. If only they'd slapped a Duff sticker on that bottle of Stella...

We're hoping this My Little Pony cosplay fail is actually a very deliberate Halloween costume decision. Otherwise, we're very, very afraid.

The underpants really complete the look for this X-Men cosplay fail. Not sure if Wolverine, or drunk Pikachu...
